Eddie Griffin was great!
I wasn't sure how funny he'd be in person, but he was fabulous!
The 1st opening act was different and the second was really good. Altogether, the show kicked off more than 30 minutes late.
When Eddie came on he was well received, even given the late starting time. He was all over the place with the subjects, no group or subject was safe.
There was a rather obnoxious person in the row in front of us, screaming out and trying to get him to respond. After the second or third time, Eddie acknowledged him and used what he said in his routine. The next time the person started heckling him, Eddie confronted him in a way that made the guy shut up so the rest of us could enjoy the show.
I would definitely go see him again, no matter the venue.
